Butterfly Bay is adjacent to the world famous Whangaroa Harbour and the door step of Marlin Coast. NZ holds the world records for largest stripped marlin, broadbill swordfish and yellowtail kingfish. together with numerous light tackle and salt water fly fish species this makes NZ an anglers Eldorado.
Whangaroa Harbour provides an all weather, all tide boat ramp for recreational anglers only a 10 minute drive from Butterfly Bay.
The Whangaroa Marina can accomodate larger vessels. There is also a limited number of trailer boat sized berths on AA pier if you book early enough for during the summer months.
We recommend Albacora corporate charters or Nautilus charters if you want one our our local captains to help realise your fishing goals.
